My story

We are a family of five. My oldest sister is not married, but she has a child and they live with us. Mom is divorced with my father, now she is married to my stepfather. He used to drink a lot, yelled at me and even kicked me, but now he is improving. ## Why Vlad needs our help ``` Vlad visited the HOP center very seldom, because he was little. Now he is attending regularly. His oldest sister and brother came to HOP center 3 years ago. By the law of the government family was recognized as socially dangerous because of the materially low condition. Stepfather used to drink a lot. Now a family is in a normal moral and psychological state. We can help Vlad with seasonal clothing and shoes and by checking the condition of his teeth. ``` ## About HOP Centre HOP centre is located in Kobryn, Belarus. Twice a week about 40 kids come to the House of Peace to a warm and safe place, to eat, do homework, play and develop creatively. HOP (House of Peace) is a non-profit organization with the goal of giving hope in hopeless situations. Alcoholism is one of the biggest problems in Belarus. Alcoholism brings violence, immorality, addiction, and poverty into the families. We help those children in the families who no longer have hope for the future. With HOP Kids, they offer after-school care and care for children who come from a dangerous social environment.
