My story
My name is Umazi and am 16 years old. Am the last born in the family of 10 children, 4 boys and 6 girls. I stay with my mother and father. My father is so sick and my mother spends most of her time taking care of him. All my sisters dropped school and some got married at tender age. Am the only girl in school now from our family. I was assisted to join Blessed Generation and was enrolled in class 7. In school i take breakfast,Tea Break and eat Lunch.Why Umazi needs our help
Umazi need our help because her father who was the bread winner became sick and he could not walk any more. Umazi's Mother has to stay at home to look after her husband. Her elder sisters and brothers have also neglected her.After assessing Umazi's situation at home, Blessed Generation enrolled Umazi at our primary school, where we cater for all of her education need including full school uniforms. We also provide food after every two weeks to his family and medical when need arise. Umazi is a hardworking girl and is determined to become a doctor.

Blessed Generation is a Kenya-based Non Governmental Organization (NGO) registered as a Charitable Children's Institution. From Kenya she gives children in need a chance for a good future. Education plays an important role in our help. It is the key to the future. Blessed Generation offers children primary and further education and, where possible, supports vocational or university education. We consciously choose not to stop supporting after primary school. Further education and thorough social emotional guidance by our qualified social workers significantly increases the possibilities of a vulnerable child and reduces risks such as crime, radicalisation and teenage pregnancies.Sponsor Umazi
