"I'm Tracy and I really like reading books and skipping rope, it makes me so happy. When I grow up, I dream of becoming a nurse because I want to take care of people."

- Tracy

My story

Tracy is a diligent student currently in her third year of primary school, demonstrating commendable performance in her studies. She is one of four children in her family, all residing in Northern Uganda, a region unfortunately stricken by poverty. Despite these challenging circumstances, Tracy is in good health with no serious medical conditions to report. Her parents, both of whom are known to us, toil tirelessly as peasant farmers. However, their earnings are meager and they struggle to rise above the poverty line. Tracy's inclusion in our program is a direct response to these hardships, aiming to provide her with opportunities for a brighter future.

Why Tracy needs our help

Tracy urgently requires assistance as the SEVAC Foundation in Uganda is currently only able to provide scholastic materials. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many donors have withdrawn their support, leaving the organization without sufficient funds to cover Tracy's school fees.

Tracy is supported by impact partner SEVAC Foundation Uganda
