"I really like playing football and reading story books, they make me happy. One day, I dream of being a medical doctor. I want to study medicine when I grow up."

- Stephen

My story

Stephen is a resilient young man who, despite the challenges he has faced, continues to persevere. Having tragically lost both of his parents in the Kony war, he is now an orphan. Fortunately, his loving grandmother has taken on the responsibility of his care, providing him with a nurturing environment. As of 2024, Stephen is in his first year of senior school, demonstrating his commitment to education. His health is robust, a testament to his strength and resilience. Stephen's participation in our program is due to the unfortunate circumstances of his past. His story is a poignant reminder of the many children affected by war, and the urgent need for our support.

Why Stephen needs our help

Stephen requires assistance to better support his grandmother. Currently, the aid he receives from SEVAC Foundation Uganda is limited to scholastic materials and food. However, Stephen's needs extend beyond this, particularly in assisting his grandmother. Your sponsorship can make a significant difference in Stephen's life and the life of his grandmother.

Stephen is supported by impact partner SEVAC Foundation Uganda
