Project information: The project in India that your sponsor child is part of is part of Mercy Orphanages and the office is located in Bhimavaram. The project was set up in 2003 by Evangalist Raj. Raj. is an evangelist in India with a huge passion for the underprivileged in his society. When he was walking through the city one evening and saw a lot of children roaming the streets, fighting for survival, he decided to set up a project to take care of these children. There are currently hundreds of children in the project. There is a large land on which they have built a large orphanage with the goal that all the children can stay there one day. At the moment, the children are staying in five different children's homes spread over three districts in India.
The goal of the children's homes is to give the children a safe home where they can heal, recover and flourish into strong, independent individuals who are rooted in the love of Jesus. Some children, especially the street children, live in shelters spread over 7 different villages.
Your support provides your sponsor child with food, school and teaching materials, housing and medical care, so that the children have a great future perspective and they can realize their dream.
