"When I grow up, I want to discover the whole world. At school I heard about England and America. That's where I really want to go. That's why it's my dream to become a pilot."

- Solomon

My story

My name is Ampaire Solomon and I was born on October 14, 2012. I have three brothers and two sisters. Dad sent Mom away. Then came a new mom, Barbra. She takes care of us and her own children. Together with dad and Barbra we live in a house with three rooms. At school, I play football with my friends during breaks or we roll a motorcycle tire down the road. I think that's a really fun game. I'm also very good at math, which is where I got the highest grades. When I get home, I always hope Barbra cooked matooke with beans. That's my favorite food!

Why Solomon needs our help

His parents are divorced and his father works in the army. He now lives with his stepmother who works in the fields to grow their daily food. His father's income is not enough to provide for the family and pay school fees.
