"I really enjoy playing netball, it makes me so happy! One day, I dream of becoming a lawyer and working in a law firm."

My story

Rachel is a diligent student currently attending secondary school and performing exceptionally well in her first form. She resides in northern Uganda, an area significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Rachel's family, like many others, has felt the impact of this global crisis. Rachel's mother, a single parent, is her primary provider. Known for her resilience and determination, Rachel's mother runs a small-scale business to meet their basic needs. Despite the challenges, she ensures that Rachel gets everything she needs. Rachel's enrollment in our program is a direct response to the hardships brought about by the pandemic. Her story is a testament to the resilience of families in northern Uganda, striving to overcome adversity.

Why Rachel needs our help

Rachel is a bright child with big dreams. However, her current circumstances limit her potential. While SEVAC Foundation Uganda generously provides her with scholastic material and food, there's still a significant need for additional support to fully realize her dreams. Your sponsorship can help bridge this gap and provide Rachel with the opportunities she needs to thrive.

Rachel is supported by impact partner SEVAC Foundation Uganda

To improve the lives of orphans, widows, the elderly, and disadvantaged youth and their communities through an innovative partnership and community resources that promote strong families and young advocates for change. Our vision is a world where orphans, widows, the elderly and disadvantaged young people are economically and socially empowered and champions of change in their lives and communities. We are a non-profit charitable organization that lays divine foundations among communities through our spheres of influence, including: 1. Educational support (school fees, school materials and uniforms) for disadvantaged children and students of all age groups; 2. Economic strengthening by supporting revenue-generating activities; 3. Provision of food and nutrition education and supplements; 4. Support for the sick, disabled and infirm, as well as capacity building and attention to issues related to the well-being of children and women.
