"I feel responsible, support my family in difficulties and help our mother with housework. My dream is to become a policeman one day and protect other people. My mother would like me to become an architect. My biggest joys are going to the HOP Centre where I can spend time with my friends. Next to that I love going to church."

My story

In my family we have nine kids, seven of them are underage. We live in a small village where our mother is raising us. My father left us at a very young age. Two of the nine children have their own families already. The eldest girl studies in another city. We help our mother with housework and I help with working during the holidays.

Why Peter needs our help

Zjenja has joined HOP Centre four years ago because of the difficult situation at home. With not enough money they were undernourished and all children where struggling emotionally with their father leaving them. To help Zjenja we provide peace of mind and help her/him to prepare for studies. His/her teeth are not that good also and for that financial support is necessary.
