"I'm Owen Austin and I really like taking care of cows and playing with bugs that make me happy. One day, I want to be a doctor, so I hope to study medical science when I grow up."

- Owen Austin

My story

Owen Austin is a resilient child hailing from Northern Uganda, where most families, including his own, have been greatly affected by two decades of conflict. He is currently enrolled in a support program designed to assist children in his circumstances. Owen is in Primary Five and is thriving acadically, demonstrating a strong commitment to his studies. Owen's mother, a dedicated primary school teacher, is raising him single-handedly. Despite the challenges they face, she is known in their community for her strength and determination. Owen's health is also a testament to their resilience; he is medically fit with no history of serious illnesses. The support offered through our program ensures that Owen continues to grow and thrive in his current environment.

Why Owen Austin needs our help

Owen is a determined young individual with aspirations of becoming a medical doctor. However, he requires additional support to achieve this dream. Currently, the SEVAC Foundation in Uganda is able to provide him with scholastic materials and food. Yet, to fully realize his potential and pursue his medical career, Owen needs further assistance that goes beyond these basic provisions. Your sponsorship could be the key to unlocking his future.
