My story

My name is Miguel Henrique. I live with my mother, my father and my younger brother, who also studies at the NGO. I actively participate in the activities of the NGO Nova Geração Brasil and I like to be present in all of them. I love all the classes, but my favorite is robotics, because I love learning about technology and robots. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my brother, playing soccer, and watching television. At school, my favorite subject is mathematics; I am very dedicated and have great grades. In addition, I support the football team called Flamengo.

The New Generation Brasil Foundation was born out of the desire to offer underprivileged children in Brazil a better future. We believe that every child deserves equal opportunities. We do not stop at 'survival', but want to help the children/young people develop towards an independent and sustainable future by giving them (practical) education, with which they can later provide for themselves. Our vision is that a child can only learn and develop if it feels safe. That is why it is our mission to make this happen. We want to start by creating an environment where children feel safe and secure. Where they can really be children and develop and grow from the natural childlike interest. With the ultimate goal of offering a new generation of Brazilians the opportunity: * to develop, * to be able to make their dreams, potential and ambition come true * to be able to support themselves and their future family well.
