My story

My name is Juan Vinicius Figueiredo Levindo, I am 12 years old and I am attending the 7th grade of Elementary School II in the afternoon shift. In the morning shift I participate in classes at the NGO Nova Geração Brasil. I live with my mother and visit my father on weekends. In my free time I like to play football and video games, I also like to go to the bus station and watch the buses. My favorite subject in school is mathematics and my favorite sport is soccer. I support the soccer team that is called São Paulo. On weekends I like to spend special moments with my father, as he lives in another house, so I take advantage of this time to be close to him. I love the music lessons that the NGO offers, because I like to sing.

The New Generation Brasil Foundation was born out of the desire to offer underprivileged children in Brazil a better future. We believe that every child deserves equal opportunities. We do not stop at 'survival', but want to help the children/young people develop towards an independent and sustainable future by giving them (practical) education, with which they can later provide for themselves. Our vision is that a child can only learn and develop if it feels safe. That is why it is our mission to make this happen. We want to start by creating an environment where children feel safe and secure. Where they can really be children and develop and grow from the natural childlike interest. With the ultimate goal of offering a new generation of Brazilians the opportunity: * to develop, * to be able to make their dreams, potential and ambition come true * to be able to support themselves and their future family well.
