My story
My name is João Pedro da Silva and I'm 9 years old. I am attending the 2nd year of Elementary School I in the afternoon and my favorite subject is Portuguese Language. In the morning I participate in the activities at the NGO Nova Geração Brasil and my favorite class is bakery and I have already learned how to make several recipes for cakes, sweets and cookies. I love the cashew recipe and I already know how to make it myself. I live with my mother, my grandmother, my younger brother and my older sister. I don't know my father, but my mother and grandmother take very good care of me and my siblings. In my free time I like to play and watch television. I support a football team called Flamengo.Why João Pedro needs our help
João is a very affectionate boy, but very agitated and who has a complex family history. He does not know his father and has no paternal reference, this situation may have generated emotional imbalance in the student, which leads to dysfunctional behavior and difficulties in the teaching-learning process. Given this, we want to invest in João's future and change his reality. The institution, through activities in the socio-emotional sphere, wants to monitor the development of the student, so that he overcomes his emotional traumas and has psychological balance, contributing to his well-being. In addition, we want to invest in their future and provide opportunities for them to overcome their difficulties and achieve success in all areas of their life. Through the educational activities and professional courses that the institution offers, João will also expand his opportunities to enter the job market or Higher Education, becoming a qualified young person who is able to fulfill his dreams. Through monitoring and psychological support, João will have the autonomy to make the best choices, in addition to having emotional control and balance to deal with possible adversities.
