My story

My name is João Lucas, I'm 8 years old and I'm in the 2nd year of Elementary School I. I live with my mother and father. I support a team called Atlético and Mathematics is my favorite subject. I am very affectionate and smiling, I love all the activities of the institution and my presence is constant. I am also educated and have many friends, I love to draw, color and learn new things. I have already had to undergo a tympanoplasty, which is surgery to correct a perforation in the eardrum and I am about to have the second surgery.

The New Generation Brasil Foundation was born out of the desire to offer underprivileged children in Brazil a better future. We believe that every child deserves equal opportunities. We do not stop at 'survival', but want to help the children/young people develop towards an independent and sustainable future by providing them with (practical) education, with which they can later provide for themselves. Our vision is that a child can only learn and develop when it feels safe. That is why it is our mission to make this happen. We want to start by creating an environment where children feel safe and secure. Where they can really be children and develop and grow from the natural childlike interest. With the ultimate goal of offering a new generation of Brazilians the opportunity to: * to develop, * to be able to realize their dreams, potential and ambition * to be able to support themselves and their future families.
