My story
My name is Hellen and am 15 years old. Am the only child to my mother.i don't know the where about of my biological father. My mother does casual jobs which at times are not available. Most of time we normally have 1 meal a day. She is unskilled and sick cannot do heavy work. She got married at tender age but her marriage did not work. My mother does not have a permanent residence to call home.Why Hellen needs our help
Hellen needs our help because she comes from a single parent family. She dropped school after her mother became sick to look after her mother. Her mother has no permanent home and her relatives are not known. The small jobs she does cannot sustain her together with her daughter. Hellen with her mother are housed by a good friend who came to Blessed Generation and asked for assistance. Hellen was enrolled in class7 and she is so happy since she is getting breakfast and lunch. All her education needs are also catered for. Hellen is hardworking girl who is determined to achieve her dream and buys land for her mother.

Blessed Generation is a Kenya-based Non Governmental Organization (NGO) registered as a Charitable Children's Institution. From Kenya she gives children in need a chance for a good future. Education plays an important role in our help. It is the key to the future. Blessed Generation offers children primary and further education and, where possible, supports vocational or university education. We consciously choose not to stop supporting after primary school. Further education and thorough social emotional guidance by our qualified social workers significantly increases the possibilities of a vulnerable child and reduces risks such as crime, radicalisation and teenage pregnancies.Sponsor Hellen
