My story
My name is Happy and am 16 years old in class 7. I am the first born in our family and i have 1 sister. We were left under the care of our father after the death of our mother, who abandoned us and his where about is not known. My paternal uncle took us in,but unfortunately after the covid-19 pandemic life became difficult. I dropped school together with my sister. We could go and do casual jobs to get some food, but most people could not offer us job since we were under age.Why Happy needs our help
Happy needs our help because she is a partial orphan. There is no body who is willing to take her to school and she had lost hope of going to school. As she is the first born in her family and her sister looks at her as her role model and depends on her. Blessed Generation enrolled her in our primary school.We provide her with breakfast,tea break and lunch during the normal school days.We also provide her family with food after every two weeks.We also cater for her medical expenses when need arises and all school necessities. We hope she will achieve her dream.

Blessed Generation is a Kenya-based Non Governmental Organization (NGO) registered as a Charitable Children's Institution. From Kenya she gives children in need a chance for a good future. Education plays an important role in our help. It is the key to the future. Blessed Generation offers children primary and further education and, where possible, supports vocational or university education. We consciously choose not to stop supporting after primary school. Further education and thorough social emotional guidance by our qualified social workers significantly increases the possibilities of a vulnerable child and reduces risks such as crime, radicalisation and teenage pregnancies.Sponsor Happy
