"I want to become a nurse when I finish school. "

- Hafule

My story

I love watching movies. I stay with both my parents, but they are struggling to provide for all of us.

Why Hafule needs our help

I stay with both my parents, but they are struggling to provide for all of us. Sometimes we go without basic things. I would deeply appreciate any help.

Hafule is supported by impact partner TRH-Movement

The TRH Foundation is committed to helping people in Malawi sustainably out of prison of poverty. Going to school is essential in this. Most children in Phalombe do not finish high school because of the school fees. Orphans in particular are therefore dependent on food aid and have no opportunities to build a future independently. The area as a whole also suffers from this. If no doctors, nurses, pastors or teachers are trained, the level of development of the area will also lag behind. To support (orphan) children, the TRH Foundation works together with local partner Hope Foundation Care and TRH-Movement Malawi. Hope Foundation Care is a faith and community-based organization that began its work in 2023 in the village of Nyezerera in the district of Phalombe. The organization's vision and mission is to improve the standard of living of the most marginalized groups in Phalombe County by strengthening the well-being and education of orphans and vulnerable children, empowering widows and vulnerable families — especially women — and the elderly, and facilitating community development initiatives in rural Phalombe to improve the livelihoods of the entire community.
