My story
Esther Equator hails from a humble family of four in the heart of Northern Uganda, a region deeply scarred by two decades of relentless war. Despite these challenging circumstances, Esther's resilience remains unbroken. She stands as a beacon of hope, currently enrolled in Primary Three, where she is performing admirably.
Esther is a quiet and introspective girl, her spirit marked by a deep sense of unity and togetherness. Her health remains robust, with no significant medical issues on record. This is a testament to her strength and the care she receives from her parents, who are known to us and are engaged in small-scale business activities as a means of supporting their family.
Esther's participation in our program is a direct result of the widespread poverty prevalent in the aftermath of the wars that have plagued Northern Uganda. Her family, like many others in the region, struggles to make ends meet. It is our mission to help children like Esther overcome these challenges and create a brighter
Why Esther Equator needs our help
Esther Equator requires sponsorship to achieve her dreams. Her parents are unable to financially support her education. The SEVAC Foundation Uganda has been providing her with scholastic materials, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have experienced a decrease in donors. Thus, Esther needs additional support to continue her education.
