My story

My name is Emanuelly Victoria Gonçalves de Mello, I'm 10 years old and I'm attending the 5th year of Elementary School I in the morning. My favorite subject is mathematics. In the afternoon I participate in the activities at the NGO Nova Geração Brasil. I am very present in all the activities that the NGO offers and my favorite class is at the bakery, because I love to learn new recipes and I really like to make sweets. On the weekend I like to ride a bike and play volleyball. I support a football team called Athletic.

The New Generation Brasil Foundation was born out of the desire to offer underprivileged children in Brazil a better future. We believe that every child deserves equal opportunities. We do not stop at 'survival', but want to help the children/young people develop towards an independent and sustainable future by giving them (practical) education, with which they can later provide for themselves. Our vision is that a child can only learn and develop if it feels safe. That is why it is our mission to make this happen. We want to start by creating an environment where children feel safe and secure. Where they can really be children and develop and grow from the natural childlike interest. With the ultimate goal of offering a new generation of Brazilians the opportunity: * to develop, * to be able to make their dreams, potential and ambition come true * to be able to support themselves and their future family well.
