- Dussu

My story

Dussu was born healthy. When she was 3 years old, she was very ill. As a result, she now has hemiplegia (brain damage that causes her muscles on one side of her body to not work properly). Her one hand wants to stand in a bent position, she has difficulty working with it and her leg has problems. Dussu can walk reasonably well. Description of character/manner: Dussu is not very good at articulating what she wants. That's why she is sometimes frustrated and gets angry. And sometimes she starts fighting.

Why Dussu needs our help

Reason for sponsorship: Dussu needs guidance so that she can continue to develop well. That she does exercises with her arm, so that her arm does not grow into a wrong position.

Dussu is supported by impact partner Jedidja

Jedidja began medical care and child evangelism in Foia in 2003. In 2010, the work was expanded to focus on disability care and children's evangelism throughout the southern region of the country. In 2012, a new center in Buba was built and put into use. From 2021 onwards, the focus will be on the development of local ownership.

Sponsor Dussu

As a guardian you help Dussu and other children within the program of Jedidja. Thanks to your contribution and that of the other guardians, the children are helped with proper nutrition, tutoring, sports and personal development. This gives them a chance at a hopeful future.
