"David is at a tender age, full of curiosity and early interests. He enjoys drawing and looking through colorful cartoon books, which already shows his creative side. We hope he will grow with good health, enjoy learning in school, and discover the gifts God has placed in his life. It is our wish that he develops a joyful spirit, strong faith, and the confidence to follow a meaningful path as he grows."

My story

David Aung comes fror! a small and devoted family. His father serves as a pastor, and both parents work faithfully and full-time at Win Children Home, caring for many children who do not have families of their own. Their days and nights are spent serving others, offering guidance, comfort, and practical help to those in need. Because of their full commitment to this ministry work, their income and personal time are very limited. While they give so much to the children around them, it has become difficult to secure everything necessary for their own son's daily growth and long-term future. Recognizing both their sacrifice and their heart for service, we chose to support David so he can be raised with stability while his parents continue their important work.

Why David needs our help

David needs assistance not because he lacks loving parents, but because his family's full-time service limits their financial resources. His parents prioritize caring for vulnerable children, which makes it challenging to cover educational costs, healthcare, and future needs for their own child. Support ensures that David receives proper nutrition, school preparation, and a secure foundation as he grows. This help allows his parents to continue their work without worry, knowing their son is also being cared for and given opportunities for a positive future.

What does the day look like: At half past five the children get up and from six o'clock in the morning the children come together for a morning prayer. After the prayer, the children prepare for the school day for an hour and then have breakfast together. At half past three the children come home from school and then they do their homework. Before eating, they first get a chance to play. Dinner will end with a prayer time. After that there is still time to do homework and then the day is over and they go to sleep at 9.30 pm. In the weekends there is extra attention for Bible study and association with the children from the neighborhood. Project Information: The project in Myanmar that your sponsor child is part of is located in Yangon. It is a children's home where more than 20 children currently live. The children's home is part of Win Myanmar Mission, founded in 2003 by Pastor Dr. Philip Thang; a ministry aimed at reaching the lost in Myanmar. In 1975, this preacher came to faith during a campaign. After his radical conversion, he has a strong desire to serve the Lord. GMF went to Myanmar many times in 2009 and thereafter to hold a conference with Pastor Philip. Hundreds of people have come to faith and many have been healed. GMF also visited Pastor Philip's children's home and decided to include these children in the program. The goal of the children's home is to give the children a safe home, where they receive healing and restoration and can thus blossom into strong, independent individuals rooted in the love of Jesus. Your support provides your sponsor child with food, school and teaching materials, housing and medical care, so that the children have a bright future perspective and can realize their dream.
