Mi historia
Ssenfuka was born in a small village and Life in the village was simple but tough. Most families, including his own, survived through farming. His grandmother, Jajja Namuddu, raised him from the time he was a little boy. Ssenfuka never knew his father, and his mother had passed away when he was still too young to understand the weight of loss.

Ssenfuka needs help from the Serah Foundation because, despite his passion and determination, the road to becoming a doctor is filled with challenges that he cannot overcome alone. Growing up in a small village with limited resources, Ssenfuka has always faced financial hardships. His grandmother, Jajja Namuddu, does everything she can to support him, but their income from farming and selling handmade mats barely covers daily needs, let alone school fees.
Education is expensive, and pursuing medicine requires not just school tuition but also access to proper learning materials, transportation, and sometimes even a meal to keep him focused during long study days. Often, Ssenfuka has to study by the dim light of a kerosene lamp, and his books are worn and outdated. Yet, he pushes forward, knowing that knowledge is the only thing that can transform his life and his village.
