"I really like playing football, it makes me so happy! One day, I dream of becoming a medical doctor. I really want to study medicine."

- Dairus

My story

Dairus is a bright young child, the third of four children in a humble family hailing from Northern Uganda. Despite the complications of growing up in a region still healing from the scars of war, Dairus has shown remarkable resilience and dedication to his education. Currently, he is in the third grade and is consistently performing well in his studies. Health-wise, Dairus is a picture of vitality. He has been fortunate to have no medical history of chronic diseases, a testament to his robust health. His parents, both hardworking peasant farmers, are known to us. Dairus's journey is being supported through a program designed to assist children who, like many in Northern Uganda, are vulnerable due to the lingering effects of past conflicts.

Why Dairus needs our help

Darius is in a situation where his parents are unable to afford his school fees. While the SEVAC Foundation Uganda provides him with scholastic materials and food, we are not able to cover these fees. Therefore, Darius urgently needs sponsorship to continue his education and ensure his basic needs are met.

Dairus is supported by impact partner SEVAC Foundation Uganda

To improve the lives of orphans, widows, the elderly, and disadvantaged youth and their communities through an innovative partnership and community resources that promote strong families and young advocates for change. Our vision is a world where orphans, widows, the elderly and disadvantaged young people are economically and socially empowered and champions of change in their lives and communities. We are a non-profit charitable organization that lays divine foundations among communities through our spheres of influence, including: 1. Educational support (school fees, school materials and uniforms) for disadvantaged children and students of all age groups; 2. Economic strengthening by supporting revenue-generating activities; 3. Provision of food and nutrition education and supplements; 4. Support for the sick, disabled and infirm, as well as capacity building and attention to issues related to the well-being of children and women.
