"I really enjoy building all kinds of things. That's why I want to be a construction worker when I grow up, so that I can build a big house where we can live with the whole family!"

My story

Hello! My name is Amos Kukiriza and I was born on August 12, 2013 as the eldest son. I have three brothers and a sister. Together with Dad and Cissy, my stepmother, we live in a two-room house. At school, I play football with my friends during breaks or we build huts. I'm also very good at math, which is where I got the highest grades. When I get home, I always hope that Cissy has cooked posho with cassava and rice. That's my favorite food!

Why Amos needs our help

Both parents work in the fields to grow their daily food, such as matooke, sweet potato, and cassava. There is no monthly income, which makes it difficult to pay school fees.
