My story

My name is Agatha Beatriz Domingos Rodrigues. I am attending the 4th year of Elementary School I in the afternoon and my favorite subject is physical education. In the morning I participate in the activities at the NGO Nova Geração Brasil and my favorite class is bakery and I have already learned how to make several recipes for cakes, sweets and cookies. I really enjoy this class as I learn several delicious recipes. I live with my mother and my siblings. My father lives in the city of Rio de Janeiro and sometimes we talk on the phone. In my free time I like to play with my sisters, watch cartoons and dance, I also really like to watch television. I support a football team called Flamengo.

The New Generation Brasil Foundation was born out of the desire to offer underprivileged children in Brazil a better future. We believe that every child deserves equal opportunities. We do not stop at 'survival', but want to help the children/young people develop towards an independent and sustainable future by giving them (practical) education, with which they can later provide for themselves. Our vision is that a child can only learn and develop if it feels safe. That is why it is our mission to make this happen. We want to start by creating an environment where children feel safe and secure. Where they can really be children and develop and grow from the natural childlike interest. With the ultimate goal of offering a new generation of Brazilians the opportunity: * to develop, * to be able to make their dreams, potential and ambition come true * to be able to support themselves and their future family well.
