Mariam
Oeganda

"When I grow up, I would like to have a good job so that I can take care of my family. Mum works very hard every day so that we have enough food. That's why I want to make sure I make enough money so that mom doesn't have to worry anymore."

Patvakan

Nunticah
Thailand

"Nunticah likes to play with the other children from the village."

Anahit
Armenia

"Anahit is a sweet and beautiful girl. We love working with her. Anahit is 14 years old. She finished her 9th year of school with good results. Her favourite subjects are English and literature. She's on volleyball (she doesn't have to pay for it). She likes sports, and also plays outside. She has a beautiful voice and she can sing. She will finish school in a year, but she doesn't know yet what direction she wants to take."

Mercy
Kenia

"I like singing sacred songs most of my time, sometimes I do play skipping rope with my friends. I would like to be a teacher when I grow up, so that I can champion girl child education in our village."

Ashley
Kenia

"Ashley is a shy and quiet girl who doesn't talk much, but her presence is always friendly and gentle. She loves school immensely and dreams of becoming a nurse when she grows up. Because she lives close to the Lusala primary school, she is always on time in class. In her spare time, she likes to read and play with her best friends Natalie and Cynthia."

Paska
Oeganda

"I love telling stories, it makes me really happy. One day, I dream of being an accountant and I want to work in a bank."

Disan
Oeganda

Ester
Brasil

"My dream is to become a police officer. I would also love to travel and spend a few days at the beach. What makes me happy is going out for ice cream. I love jumping rope and playing with my sisters. "

Angel
NL

"I'm Angel and I really want to be a vet when I grow up. I always loved animals, they're like my best friends. My dream is to help animals get better and make sure they're happy and healthy."

Valaria
Oeganda

"Nabawesi Valaria dreams to be a nurse. She has always admired the nurses she saw at the small village clinic. Dressed in their crisp white uniforms, they moved with confidence, their hands gentle as they treated the sick. Whenever she visited the clinic with her grandmother, she watched in fascination as they worked, listening to their soothing voices as they comforted patients. She knew, deep in her heart, that one day, she wanted to be like them. At school, Valaria loves science. She is curious about how the body workes, how medicine heales wounds, and how simple things like clean water and food can prevent sickness. "

Sudipta
India

"I am interested in singing songs and like to listen to adventure stores. I read story books in my free time. I would like to be social worker and help the elderly people in the society. "
