My story
My name is Maria Laura Gouveia Oliveira and I'm 8 years old. I am attending the 2nd year of Elementary School I in the afternoon and in the morning I participate in the activities that the NGO New Generation Brazil offers.
I live with my mother and my brother. My father lives in another neighborhood and sometimes I spend a few days with him.
I love the subjects of the Portuguese language and mathematics school.
I like to play basketball and volleyball.
I love all the NGO classes, but my favorites are the classes in the playground, the ceramics classes and the assignment classes. I really like to stay in the library, because I love reading the books and seeing the illustrations.
In my free time I like to walk with my mother and brother, I love swimming in the waterfall, cycling and rollerblading. I also really like to sing and dance.
Why Maria Laura needs our help
Maria Laura is one of the students who most needs support and support, due to the lack of family structure. In addition, the student needs psychiatric and psychological follow-up. Mary has a lot of energy and charisma, but she needs attention, affection and accompaniment to control her emotions. The family dynamics are a little complex, which directly influences the student's inappropriate behavior. In view of this, the NGO Nova Geração Brasil wants to invest in the student's future, so that she can change her reality and hope for a happy future with many opportunities. Through the activities in the educational, social and professional spheres that the institution offers, Maria Laura will be able to develop satisfactorily and be able to control her emotions, achieve academic success, in addition to having better chances to enter the job market. The emotional and psychological support, in addition to the love and zeal that the institution offers, will make a lot of difference in the development and growth of the student, making her grow healthy and in constant progress.
