My story

My name is Lara Caroline dos Santos Detomi, I'm 11 and I'm in the 5th grade of Elementary School I. My favorite subject is mathematics. I go to school in the morning and go to the NGO in the afternoon. I am very present in the activities and I have made many friends here. I am educated and hardworking. I live with my mother, my father and my younger sister. I have a family present that always cheers for me, I'm very happy for that. My grades are good and I always do assignments and reinforcement activities at the institution. In my free time I like to make beaded bracelets and dance. I have a dog and I really like to play with her when I'm at home.

The New Generation Brasil Foundation was born out of the desire to offer underprivileged children in Brazil a better future. We believe that every child deserves equal opportunities. We do not stop at 'survival', but want to help the children/young people develop towards an independent and sustainable future by providing them with (practical) education, with which they can later provide for themselves. Our vision is that a child can only learn and develop when it feels safe. That is why it is our mission to make this happen. We want to start by creating an environment where children feel safe and secure. Where they can really be children and develop and grow from the natural childlike interest. With the ultimate goal of offering a new generation of Brazilians the opportunity to: * to develop, * to be able to realize their dreams, potential and ambition * to be able to support themselves and their future families.
